Hand-Delivered

None other than Mr. Joe Sorren dropped by the studio last Thursday. He happened to be passing through town and took some time out to take a tour of the studio and to personally hand deliver a painting that we're using as a starting point for an upcoming project (you may have read a little about it on his blog). Plans, hopes, and dreams were discussed--this project might take awhile but it will be worth the wait.

I love Pressure Printing, but I'm sorry to say that I don't love the new web site.

First of all the white background takes the focus away from the art itself. The gray lettering is waaaay too small, and again, the white background does it no favors. (Maybe it's just my tired old eyes - but can I be the only one?)

Last, although the art has been rephotographed for current monitor resolutions, the images were all small. None of them came anywhere close to filling my screen. In every case I was forced to use the zoom feature when there was plenty of space for a larger image in the first place.

All of this is said with love and affection. Keep up the high quality of your work and keep bringing us these fascinating artists.
